Montolit Pro-Gres

It's time for a new blade for the grinder, not a great lover of the tool but for cutting down mosaic comes in handy.

Looking at the Montolit blade from Tradetiler and wondered what you thought, good, bad or indifferent would help in my choice.

Nice wheel, I have the 80mm version, nice and thin and super smooth cut, I imagine the 115mm wheel s the same.

I don't get long from the markrist but do get longer from the montolit blades.
I have one to test for stonetools that looks the part so i might get it in action from tomorrow.
A few years ago i got a long time from a monty blade

I have to say that I find the small montolit ideal for curves too. I have used it a few times in place of my 115mm blade as I couldnt be bothered to change it, and it was just fine on large format porc & trav. I prefer using it to make the envelope cuts on a wet room former as well, as it is much more controllable as the centripetal force is less

I got a porcelain cutting 115mm blade from stonetools last week,
We got using it today on 60x60 polished porcelain and its cutting superbly.
It is cutting every bit as good as a wetsaw.
I'm going to see how long it lasts now.
