Job recently required the edges of some travertine to be finished in some way. Not a full bullnose but a slightly rounded corner and a polished edge . Not having the luxury of a multi speed polisher and profiling bit etc I needed another method. In the past I have used so Silicone carbide sanding discs which worked well but alas they are no more ...I worn them out.
I remembered a while back buying some Montolit diamond rubbing blocks, so I dug them out the tool box and set to shaping the stone. Well it was quite easy and gave a good finish . I wouldnt like to do too much with them but a run of 1.2metres didnt take too long. Nice to have in the toolbox
