More Gulf stone profiling help please?

Is it possible to dry polish the profiled edges of Gulf stone, given that it is an engineered stone?
Or am I going to have to invest in a wet polisher? :mad2::mad2:

I would try a small part on the slowest speed Daz i would say you will have now problem getting a polish but i would also use edging wax and lambswool bonnet to finish it

I have profiled a sample and polished up to 800 with my diamond pads at the slowest speed my Makita allows (2000 rpm). I invested in some "papers" that go up to 1200 but still cant get a high shine.

I'll try the edging wax and bonnet but I'm not having much luck as yet .

Daz, when I got my tools from stonetools (after visiting you) I ordered a 1500 pad, used it today On some gulfstone and it's given a really good polished edge, I'll grab a couple of pics in the morning to see what you think.
