The prices are on the site, it's American of course, to buy or to lease, the guy, owner/manager I suppose, is following me on twitter, smart move on his part.. not something I would want to do, but wanted to show you guys on here, having ideas of maybe some of you wanting to join forces? The swimming pool design, I think I saw it in the little video, was stunning, and being able to use up to 10 colours, wow design wise I could do a lot with that... even help design patterns... think high end bathroom floors, feature walls etc...

Trend are doing a quick fix mosaic now as well...
TILEZINE: Trend launches quick fit system for mosaics

just looking quickly I don't think that gives you the automated design option from your own designs? Do I understand right that this might be more a fitting system? Don't know, but technology is moving on, good to know about it..

The Legend; Phil Hobson RIP

I could have done with that a few years back, when a customer had seen a feature wall, over the bath. They had seen it in a magazine, the design went like this, coming off the bath with solid dark green 25mm glass mosaics gradually introducing pale green. until midway up the wall pale green was predominant. Then white was slowly added until towards the top it was all white.

They had bought a box of dark green, a box of pale green and a box of white. Guess who had to cut up the sheets to get the desired effect.

I could have done with some help from Gisela that day. The end result was stunning, customer very pleased, and that's what counts. Did my head in though.:thumbsup:

Yes Gisela before digital photography, more in the days when you had to hide under a black cowl, with some gun powder in the flash pan. When I say a couple of years back, it can be anything up to forty years ago:thumbsup:. My memory and all that:thumbsdown:

All I can say it's safe to come out from under that black cowl now, Phil... but having just recently been busy scanning in my photographs of my son and having a gismo yet to be used to turn slides in to digital images I know just where you are coming from... I still got LP's and some cassettes too, I remember when the BASF metallic ones were the ones to get.. and now I'm so much on the pc my husband has started calling me a geek...

What you needed Phil was boxes of a 'blend', 7 or so sheets, each sheet is different so when put in line it goes from dark to light. Very effective but not cheap. A bit late now I know but you never know in the future!
