mosaic border

hi,

would appreciate opinions on best wall to tile area with small mosaic border. is it best to build tiles up to border, fix border let it dry then carry on. or fix border first then build on top when dry and build up to border from below. first job I did with mosaic border, I tiled and left space for border but this mosaic border is only 30 mm wide so less than battern width.

Leave the border out and to hold the top tiles in place just use off cuts of tile cut to then same width of the mosaic border...once set remove and then fix border..


If the border is thinner, then use the dog tooth method and build out with adhesive first, to the required depth..

thanks for advice job tight on tiles but should be ok, not sure what you mean by dog tooth method.
