After questioning you guys about tile cuts on a tray my mrs did'nt like the diagonal cuts and now wants mosaic on the tray, maybe easier for me!.after searching through other threads am i correct that for unfilled tumbled trav mosaic 50x50mm you DON'T seal before grouting and that means the grout fills up all the holes and voids?.
The mosaic is a white colour mainly(TG) and i will be using mapei 130 jasmin,if so after grouting whats best product to seal?how many coats?.
The rest of the floor will be filled and honed trav.300x460 NOT sure when these need to be sealed! is it the same as the mosaics? Thanks.

I grout first on un-filled...and LTP mattstone from TG as well......Don't leave the grout too long before first wash...sets fast.

And on the trave tiles...i ise mattstone as well and upto you if you seal first or last...but sealing first on those might make your clean up easier.

Dave, how fast is fast?,what sort of area should be filled before you need to go back and start cleaning off?.

all utracolour is rapid set, i know we use this term for adhesives but as Dave says... its quick!

On the mosaic you will be fine to grout the tray first...also depends on how fast you grout...lets say...you have about 15 to 25 mins in the bucket with the grout...and once in the joints is sets up pretty quickly depending on porosity of the tiles.

So say about a mtr or 2 at a time with a quick wipe over the tiles and not over wetting...

full mixing and cleaing off instructions are in the adhesive and grout forum stickied threads..
