MOSAIC tile question....

Hi all

Different one this...

Im using this taptile system to control the lighting in the bathroom

Taptile - ditch the switch, waterproof hidden bathroom controls.

Thing is, the max depth from the panel mounted on the back of the tile to the touch area is 12-14mm.

the tile is 9mm and my mosaics are also 9mm.. so too thick

where is best to get thin mosaics? I am only after 6 induvidual ones! so will just need one sheet!

woudl like them to match my current ones!

OR do I get the grinder out with my current ones and make steady my hand!? :yikes:

i don't think you'll get mosaics to match that are thinner dave, as you said get the grinder out, watch your fingers!

your mosaics are marble aren't they? i'd sand them down.

I'm guessing by your thread, that you want to have 6 mosaics as the buttons, rather than the stick on transfers?

Why not try and source a handful of glass mosaics? I've probably got some thin glass mosaics in my garage, depending on what colour you want?

Daz, you are spot on mate. Im after some neutral / beige / stone type colours.

Other than glass.. i think the grinder is the way

Only 4mm thick......any good?
