Am about to embark on tiling floor to ceiling bathroom walls with porcelain mosaic tiles 350x350mm (25mm units).
I have a bit of tiling under my belt, but am told mosaics are a little tricky. Advice given to me so far is to use rapid set adhesive and nail tacks into the corners to prevent the tile 'slumping'.
can anyone confirm or deny this method and let me know what brand of adhesive they'd recommend. I'm a bit tentative using rapid set knowing that i will probably tend to be a bit slow.
Also with cutting porcelain tiles with the paper backing, would it be better to turn the water off on the tile cutter to keep the paper intact?
thanks for any advice. steve.
