Good morning.
I’ve been trying to work out how to stop my shower tray from moving!
I’m fitting a complete en-suite and someone before has run the shower waste above the floor boards etc so I have to use a riser kit or build it up. (Floor boards run under the partition into another room).
I wanted to use the riser kit as I’ve heard good things about them and I can access the waste if there’s an issue.
Ok so my shower tray is the MX stone resin 800 x 900 so quite small but not too light.
I’ve fitted the legs with the pads, raised it to the level they ask you to and laid it onto a sheet of 18mm ply.
the problem I’m having is that once it’s levelled out it literally slides across the floor on the ply. I know I need to Silicon it against the plasterboard areas but I’m concerned it’ll move still once everything is fitted. Does anyone have any good ideas on what I can do please?
Many thanks
