Hi guys,
I have just completed my 2 week course at Tiler Training School in Edinburgh, Cannot speak highly enough of the place.
A month or two ago, I did my own bathroom too get a feel of tiling and how to lay out etc.
I enjoyed it very much, though a lot of lessons were learned.
1. Screw batons in, never nail them! (they move!!)
2. Never let your mother choose a mosiac border, where the tiles are thicker than the wall tiles!!
3. Be patient.
Now Iam sure when I put these pictures up, which arent the greatest there are a few things you will notice, like the sink not being centred(another wee mistake).
But all in all they are still standing up the now, so a thumbs up from me .
I feel good after my course, but I understand I really need to build up experience, doing jobs for family, friends etc before I will have the confidence to go out myself.
Plese feel free to comment!!
Good or Bad!!
