Hello, Ive just done my first bit of tiling although its not much im pretty proud of it. I am a novice so feel free to give me tips ect.

Are you being serious Andy? I only ask because things like that drive me nuts! I had a checked table cloth and one day I notice that my cup or glass always had to go inside one of the squares, was doing it all the time without noticing. OCD.

Nice job though fluid. Looks to me like a plinth and not skirting board. When possible I like to whip the skirting board off then refix when tiled.
