my first bit of tiling

Hello, Ive just done my first bit of tiling although its not much im pretty proud of it. I am a novice so feel free to give me tips ect.

It is a very small kitchen

A nice little floor, keep going like that and you can only get better.
Just remember to leave an expansion gap at the skirting boards, grout will crack so use silicone in these areas.

My only constructive criticism would be that the tiles look like they are not lining up on the brick bond, did you use a straight edge to ensure they where lining up?

Thank you everyone I'm happy with them comments. I used 5mm spacers and I did use a straight edge, it must be the camera lol. So do I use mastic in the grout line under the skirting?

Are you being serious Andy? I only ask because things like that drive me nuts! I had a checked table cloth and one day I notice that my cup or glass always had to go inside one of the squares, was doing it all the time without noticing. OCD.

Nice job though fluid. Looks to me like a plinth and not skirting board. When possible I like to whip the skirting board off then refix when tiled.

yes APH I took the plinth off. I will mastic it over now. I didnt think of doing that to be honest
