Dolly bird to Rodney Trotter "What do you prefer, astro turf or grass?"
Rodders "Dunno, never smoked astro turf"
Classic ;-)
i was thinking of building -one !!! but one with a completely new way of approaching it instead of traditional ,( it would make millions if you could build a really cheap in-ground pool for the common people ......Stick a pool in your garden then im sure you will get motivated
That was the episode when they went 'up west' and borrowed Boycies E-type jag. Quality TV

Beautiful garden, is your tiling as neat and tidy as that? ;-)Looking good Bri
You can lay Rolawn all year round as long as there is no frost about.
Quality Lawn Turf from Rolawn: Medallion Turf
I have Rolawn Medallion grass and it is superb, I do most of my lawn work roundabout now. Scarify, aerate, top dressing, overseed with ornamental grass seed.
This is the result

Double Mark, an extra 60 m2 in total, we needed more room and this was way cheaper than moving. I'm trying to project manage a fair bit of it as well as working! It's quite stressful at times! Is that a single storey @Bri or the double.

Doing a full rewire in the house as well when the shell is up, that is the bit I'm pulling my hair out about, it's going to be a nightmare. I think moving out for a few weeks might be a good idea! Every utility is being relocated as well, water, gas, electric, BT line, moving the boiler! If I can get through that lot it'll be fine.Breaking through can be a dirty part of the work....

Yep! Silver travertine for the ensuite walls and I'm actually going to have karndean on the floor downstairs, we're not having UFH and believe it or not, I actually prefer karndean/amtico to tiles on a floor.Have you chosen any tiles yet Bri?
Looks very grand, I like that.
No it's ok mate, the guy who does my joinery says he can do it for a good price. Don't worry though, I've checked if he has suitable tools and his jigsaw is top of the range, perfect for cutting stone, I'd imagine his router will be able to do the bullnosing as wellDo you need the number of a good tiler, Bri ..
