Leatherface

Was working at a customers house yesterday, they are not living there yet as are in rented whilst they do it up. Bathroom and en-suite done and most of second fix plumbing.
Was working there yesterday morning, customer was around doing some jobs.
Call of nature required so went upstairs to do a "number 2" on the newly fitted toilet in the en-suite" Seconds after I had finished and flushed I heard a shout from outside where customer had been sweeping up.
And  I did not realise that there was not yet a down pipe connected from the toilet waste to the drain below : Consequently there was now a splattering of toilet roll, water and other unmentionable stuff all over the path below and partly on the next door neighbours car. Had a nasty job of cleaning it all up. Luckily he saw the funny side, but I will never live it down

Never sh*t on a car before but glad no one was around on thurs. Working on the 5th floor of flats, piled my gear up to take down, door opens, I load the lift up fast, door shuts, lift goes down. Unfortunately, my radio cable & plug were still on the landing, my radio started going up the wall of the lift as it went down! First job Friday new plug on radio!!!

You should have kept quiet, he may have been able to blame it on acid rain!

That is the funniest story I have for a long time. It reminds me of a story my dad told me once about what happened to a friend of his in the late 50s.

Apparently he was a guest at a dinner party, and was also privileged to stay the night and attend breakfast the following day.

It was a very posh house. Before dinner was served whilst pre dinner drinks were being consumed he looked around for somewhere to sit. He found a small armchair and decided to sit in it. Unfortunately, he failed to notice the host's small dog nestling in the covers. He sat on it and killed it.

The lady of the house was looking for the dog and was heartbroken when he had to fess up! However she hosted the party and the incident, whilst on everyone's mind, gave way to a good dinner party.

During the night he had a call of nature, and had no idea where the bathroom was. All the doors looked the same, and he didn't want do disturb anyone else in his quest. After much deliberation, he looked in the corner of the room and spotted a chamber pot. Now, a decade or so earlier, chamber pots were still widely used, so using one would have probably come naturally to this gent. So he deployed it in the usual fashion.

In the morning, he was a little apprehensive about being 'found out'. So he set about disposing of the evidence. He decided that the window seemed the best place to tip the contents, assuming that the flowerbeds below would disguise the deadly cargo.

A cruel twist of fate followed. Firstly his window was not above a flowerbed has he had thought, but the conservatory where breakfast was being served to the first guests to arise, Secondly, bearing in mind that this was quite an old chamber pot, retained for its décor rather than its function, the handle was not as reliable as one might have first thought. Thirdly the conservatory had a glass roof, they hadn't invented polycarbonate in the 50s.....

You guessed it, chamber pot and contents through the conservatory roof and onto the breakfast table. Early bird catches the worm and all that....!

while were on the subject here's one 4 ya all...

I bought a bass on ebay but it was in somerset a 2 hour drive from mine on very awkward country roads. I decided to set off at 5am to avoid getting stuck in traffic and taking all day. you see I was going to a wedding that day so I got dressed in my suit and told the wife i'd meet her at the church.

Little did I know it would be frosty that night and the roads were a nightmare. but had been salted in most places. unfortunately as we all know salty road mean lots of window wash. I ran out after a while and could hardly see but couldn't find a shop to get some water from. I needed a pee so the obverse thing to do was pee on the windscreen.

my big mistake was not switching the engine and more importantly the automatic windscreen washers so as soon as i was in full flow they came on splashing all my own pee on me. Its amazing how much pee you can get on your self before your brain clicks in to gear and tell you to move your stupid arse out the way!!
