Sounds very expensive. Mine's about £25 a year for the domain, hosting, and as many email addresses as you want.

Nope, just put Wordpress into the hosting. The web designers would scoff it but you can make a far better looking and functioning website from Wordpress than from any of the 'online website builder' places. The latter templates often look very basic and crude IMO.
