Anyone know ANYTHING about this "myhomeconnect" business??good or bad?has anyone else been contacted regarding some"possible tiling work in your area"?????

If its anything like rated tradesman web site then yes a complete waste of time.

Easy way to find out, visit the site, ring a tiler who isn't in your area hence no competition and ask him simply if he has got any work through the site.

yeah-good point tom but is the fact they phoned me mean they have an actual job for me or is it to sell to me?if its to sell to me im going to blow up the office they work from

NEVER EVER take these cold callers seriously..just say no thank you and put the phone down...i know it can be tempting if you are quiete but please don't give then the time of day or your hard earned pennies...

Dave is right. A couple of years ago I got several calls from some bird in Essex trying to get me to advertise in this new publication for tradesmen that was going to sweep the nation. she even played me the proposed radio jingle.
I didn't join and still not seen anything of it so money well not-spent
