Hi all,

What's the sites policy on naming a contractor who doesn't stick to the agreed prices and makes excuses after excuse after pc has been passed and there were no problems with the work carried out?

Am I allowed to name and shame?

I did do a quick Google search on the guy and his company before I started sub contracting for him and he came up clean.

I think its only right that there be some info out there so at least some good grafting lads thinking of working with him can do a quick search and don't get mugged off...... like myself and another tiler did!

It seems it is OK to name and shame tile sheds and diy stores on here but not dodgey tile contractors etc.. good luck on getting what you are owed. [MENTION=8214]Paul[/MENTION]finn

Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear about your situation. I hear about it quite a lot on a fair few forums.

Clearly we can't name and shame on here as the forum then becomes partly liable for damage to the other party. And let's be honest, we're not a court and can't physically help. That said as always if you get into the private area's of the forum you can certainly have a good winge about a contractor who hasn't paid and that also gets the same message across. And that's always been the case on this forum.
