Natural stone border tiles - advice needed

Thanks everyone for the advice so far. I've now fixed all the tiles including the stone borders pictured above and I'm going to grout tomorrow. Is there any special technique for grouting a rough stone border like these (they're sealed) or is it just a case of using a normal float and sponge for cleanup. I'm going to be using mapei keracolor FF.

The tile is natural stone not sure of width or length i was looking at other posts considering sealing with a natural stone impreganating sealer and then fixing using a smaller notch trowel to lose the diffrence in mm against the field tile is that what you would do whitebeam?

That was for coppy about his border being thicker than the field tiles....
