Naughty Painter!!!

This is a floor i have been asked to sort out, a painter spilt some paint on the centerpiece of this polished floor. Customer was away and the painter didn't notice it until the next day...He tried white spirit, then an electric sander and he got a bit carried away and took the polish off. Started today and will finish it tmro.

I polished back up with diamond pads on a hand machine, then used Stone Gloss Powder to polish the floor, the last photo you can see where i stopped.

She didn't want diamond polishing over the whole floor, went for the cheaper option.

It would have only been surface scratches was it... looks nice now though.

Yes light scratches...floor has only been down for 3 weeks.

Not sure if i can see the scuff marks from the sander in the pics, can I ask if he told you what grit he used in his attempt to remove the marks? looks like a very nice job mate, I take it that the seeing as the tiles have only been down 3 weeks you did it, did the decoator do the papering?

The Job is Near Sevenoaks, and a Company from York supplied the stone, and the guys who laid it worked for the company. Don't know the name. I was called in just to polish the damage the painter did, and polish the whole floor. Wish i had laid it, they made a fantastic job of it. The painter in question worked for a firm, he has now gone back to croatia so no one knows what he used, just that he sanded the shine off.
