now, what about milage, im seeing vans with anything from 80k to 170k, is lower milage better or service history more important with vans..

i dont do that many miles a year, but a van with 150k on it is kind of putting me off a bit..

Same with vans as cars mate really.. Without service history mileage is meaningless, as could've been clocked! I had an Escort van that made it to 280,000 odd miles, and only ended up scrapping it a few months ago because it needded welding (and quite a bit of it). The engine was still going strong!

If when buying any vehicle an HPI check is well worth it, was going to buy a van off a sort of dealer and done the HPI and found there was a difference of nearly 90,000 miles from what was on the clock and stopped the cheque.
