Ok the walls are laff? and render. Plasterboarded 1 wall and the 2nd wall seems ok apart from the bit under the window, this just crumbled away. the size difference is about 20mm. Whats the best way to fix this?. Was going to dot and dab cause it's brick behind it but how can i build it out?

you can dot plasterboard on there then skim with rapid,do you also mean lat & plaster ( slats of wood plastered over with lime cement and horse hair ) ?

The 1st wall was Gaz,and this 1 is the same cement/plaster that has came away the wall. It's the gable end wall thats why it's brick. I don't want to strip the full wall if possible, so was just wanting to patch the bit under the window. It's just the depth that concerns me(20mm). How much can u dot & dab the plsterboard out.

20mm for dot & dabbing will be fine...no probs...good luck and let us know how you get on...
