Need HELP !

Why would be bathroom floor tiles be changing colour, I had a tiler come in and do everything for me, it is a wet room and he explain about the tanking and he was very good and did a brilliant job, i have raised it with the manufacturers and they said it was a fixing issue, so i went back to the tiler and he said he would come back and sort out any problem, on the manufacturers instruction, he removed all the grout we left the room to dry out and he re grouted, but this has not worked ! does any one have a clue what is happening?

Laura ashley cambridge beige floor tiles 450x450, Instarmac Ultra Proflec single part rapid set flexible adhesive. im not sure about the colour, grey i think!?!?!

Are they changing colour completely or just from the edge inwards as if its frames with grey?

If so it sounds like moisture ingress through the grout and into the biscuit of the tile.

no the whole tile has changed colour there is only 1 tile now that is the original colour, the thing is its not a consistant colour it looks like the tiles are wet.

Where in the room is the good one? Is it away from the wet area? It can really only be moisture or pigment ingress from the edge of the biscuit or through the back of the tile.

What colour are they going and what was the prepration of the floor? Plywood bleaches brown when it gets wet if that helps but most light colourd tiles go a kind of grey when the water gets into them.

they are going a blueish colour.

My first though is that it sounds as though something is being absorbed into the biscuit of the tile. This may be dampness/ water etc.

is it a slow setting adhesive he used?

was it grey and are they solid bedded or has he dot and dabbed possibly

It has been solid beded, sorry i cant get pics at the mo im at work.

How would water be getting in to the tile ?

me thinking you may have a leak and being waterproofed the water cant go anywhere normally its just the edges of the tile that change color (picture framing) but for the whole tile to change means the back of the tile is saturated take it the tile has a brown biscuit back . does the room have a walk in shower and did you use a puddle flange

From looking a the tiles i think they are a light biscuit, but if it s a wetroom then i reckon jay is right instead oif it framing the tile its being absorbed across the whole tile as the water cant disperse anywhere.
