hello to all , thinking about doing a 4 day tiling course i live in middlesbrough and there is a centre at a place called thirsk which is about 30 minutes from me. can anyone give any advice about this place/course. i am a forklift instructor at the moment (it is so dull) so am looking for a career change. any help/info would be great.....

Why don't you try NETT? it's not that far from you and is highly recommended. I went there and have no regrets.

I'll say the same to you as all who ask. Tiling is a good job and can be a great living but don't expect anything without a lot of work. There are literally hundreds if not thousands of us out here now and more each day due to short training courses. Competition is fierce and is driving prices down. So go for it if your'e sure but it's not the easy option.
