Negative Transfer

Have been looking at the idea of transfering some old negatives I have from many years ago (110mm) onto the pc.

Seen a few machines that can do it, has anyone tried this and what were the results.

I used to do this years ago when i was involved in Video editing,

film strip scanner put your slides on to your pc on eBay (end time 23-Dec-09 18:19:55 GMT)

This wasnt the one i used but a similar process.

There are machines on the market but just wandered if anyone had ever tried one, they do 110 and 35mm negatives.

Just want preserve the negatives I have.

Cost wise it would depend how many you have to see if it were worth gettting a camera shop to do them or do it yourself.

I think most camera shops can put them straight onto a dvd for you.
