Hi all,

My Plasplugs master cutter blade gave up on me on Friday...Cant seem to find one as good.
I just want the general purpose blade which is normally £20....I know they have shut down and other blades I have looked at seem to have all rough edges which rips a ceramic tile to bits.

Ive been thinking, for an extra £20 I could buy one of the following cutters.

Ive been looking at screwfix and they have the Erbauer ERB180C Tile Cutter Chrome Top 230V 720 watt for £39.99 or the Titan 600w Tile Cutter for £34.99.

They both have good reviews apart from the water container.

I have a Porcelain blade which I could attach to the Plasplugs master cutter and use that soley for Porcelain and one of these Screwfix types for ceramic.

What'dya' think?
Cheers.

Any reason why you can't just stick a Rubi blade on it? I'm looking at the Rubi Porcelain blade (cream coloured one) for mine, so it'll cut anything. It doesn't have that rough edge either, i know what you mean about them ripping the tiles to bits. :yikes: The only draw-back with the Rubi blade is that it's about £63.

Get yourself a good quality small cutter mate, it's your trade don't mess with the cheapies:thumbsup:
