Forum,
Did'nt get the job, Thankfully.
As the kitchen was part of an extention, the builder had'nt taken the back wall down flush with the floor and good old MFI's kitchen fitters kindly laid hardwood over the lump thus giving the floor a nice little run-off totalling about 50mm and as they wanted paving slabs on the floor and advising them that it would have to be sorted before i would touch it. I put in a price of £1400 inc adhesive, that worked out to £1100 for me, but they were happy with a guy charging £1200 without adh. I would like to know if they sorted the floor. Some you win, some you lose. Starting to get a number of splashbacks coming in, which is perfect for me as i'm still working full time shift work. Totally loving it.
