Hi everyone, I have recently completed a one week wall and floor course at Alpine Tiling in east Sussex- excellent course with loads of practical- very competent tutor.
I am going to be going back for more training soon but was wondering the best place to start looking for tiling jobs??
I am in the south west- Bath actually and would like to find the best route to a tiling career with good prospects.

thanking you all.

:)

I'm new to the trade as well, best to get yourself known to tileshops, conservatory instalers, plumber merchants, tile shops and any other tradesmen, do you have business cards, ideal for leaving with freinds relatives and local newsagents, and also previous mentioned contacts. hope this gives you some help and I wish you all the best for your future, dempster.

Welcome to the forums.

My advice would be to stick a few cards in as many shops as possible and then a small advert in your local newspaper and see how that goes.

I'd not go down the yellow pages route etc, you end up in a price war then with your quotes. Word of mouth is where you obviously want to aim at so do good on your jobs and leave cards with each customer.
