New builds are poop!

5omm wide metal studwork at 600mm centres with no insulation,
for christ sake don't bang the front door!

That shouldn't of complied with building regs . But large developers can run their own building regs , surely a conflict of interest

Can anyone see these "New Builds" still being here in 50-100 years time. As for not wanting to spend much money........these cardboard boxes are ridiculously priced with postage stamp gardens and space for 1 car if your lucky.

All these new estates are shocking.........bloody rabbit warrens.

My rant over 😉
You should pay a visit to the Poundbury development in Dorset, now that is a rabbit warren! Not to mention it's all being overseen by Prince Charles :mask:

IMG_7805.JPG IMG_7587.JPG IMG_7591.JPG IMG_7593.JPG IMG_7476.JPG This is typical of the 'screeding' I'm faced with on new builds, scandleous imo.

That is shocking!
You simply wouldn't believe me if I told you how bad it is at times Geoff. The stud walls and plastering can defy belief at times and all I get when I point it out is "well we must get onto them about that, do the best you can for now though"
It can test your patience!
