New Dog...........Exciting

A builder whose premises were across the road from mine years ago had a beagle that followed him to work. He would be there before 8am and the dog would turn up at 9am and then go home at 4pm even though he left around 5pm. The walk home was about 4 miles through the town centre and sometimes you could see the dog crossing over four lanes of traffic taking one lane at a time and walking along the white lines in between. It's remarkable how it was never run over. I've heard wandering is a characteristic of beagles.

I have had dogs all my life and there terrific companions, loyal and trusting all they ask is you look after it properly, long walks , warm bed, nice food and plenty of hugs.
If you ever need any help or advice only to glad to do so.
I help out dog rescues.
