I don't do new builds but i wouldn't worry too much, how solid are they once tiles have set? I recon once tiles set then the wall would be solid, a bit like a sheet of plaster board is weak if it was missing one side of paper. I doubt id be going to the extent of ripping walls apart though... Unless your getting paid for the extra prep?
