Your shouler may be in for a battering if you get large format stones or porcelains to do. If you stick to kitchens with 10x10cm tiles at least you'll only get repetitive strain injury.

It may be worth travelling away from your area to train though as some of the best schools are thoughout the country. Check out the reviews and forums about the different schools on here to help you out.
