Hi all new member here, I'm a tiler from Glasgow. Been tiling for eight years now & just taken on some major jobs. Thought I'd join the forum and soak in some knowledge as I've found great info here in the past years.
I use green star in my job day to day tiling kitchens and bathroom for council homes. Find it's relatively good, quite grippy & sufficient for splash backs & fixing small tiles.
I use powdered adhesive for all my own jobs as I like to guarantee my work and powdered adhesive gives good piece of mind, faster drying times, it's more flexible & it's cheaper
