Dan mate....is there anyway we could set up a txt for help service.....say where a member txt's to a certain code number linked to the forum and then any replies on the forum are sent back via there phone's or would this be a costly service....just a thought....any idea's mate.........:huh2:

would be great for newb's stuck on a job to get help as they need it .........

I use an SMS for a local tanning salon I do a bit of marketing for and they use it well. But for a forum I would have thought it would work out expensive, unless the members paid £1 per text which I'm not up for charging.

If you have a PDA or similar you can access the forum from your phone. And it wont be long before all phones have the real Internet on it and not just a dumbed down version.

It would work out cheaper for a newbie to buy a decent phone than it would us setup and use an SMS system.

Very good suggestion though. But it's a no brainer for the time being.

now that sounds like a cracking notion, wouldn't be a bad idea either, seriously though what would be the possiblity i would be glad to text someone any info' they might need, help me use up my text messages also...Mike:thumbsup:
