New Tile Cutter

Hi everyone, im currently looking for a new Electric Tile cutter, im just wondering what tile cutter you would recommend, ive only got around £400 - £500max to spend. Thanks, MSB Tiling.

How about the vitrex? Put a decent blade in and it will cut nearly anything

You can also buy decent second hand dewalt d24000 for that money too.

What cutter do you use now ( I assume it will need to be an upgrade) and what type of tile will be cut mostly ?

With your budget your caught between a really good portable one, and a mediocre bridge saw.
You could look at getting a really good bridge saw (used) for the money you can spend.

I currently use a Norton Clipper SMS 202. The blade is fine on it, but its been knocked about a bit

I have already got a Vitrex in storage but im not keen on it in all honesty, i did buy a new blade for it but that kept chipping the tiles.

Has the tile cutter had much use CJ?

I sold a norton 201 to Ali Gage, hopefully he'll see this thread and tell you what it's like to use.
