I've been told that Ditra matting can be bonded in vinyl adhesive rather than thinset. Anyone tried this?

I have done it with pesalastic never with ditra but I believe you can

it is done but mainly by general floor layers, tilers use thin-set.........

yes i have seen carpet fitter/tilers do it , i think they just like the buzz off the gloo.........lol

Welcome - best just to use 1 adhesive - fast set flexible above and below IMHO.
