New to the Industry

Hi everyone,

I am thinking about becoming a self employed tiler as I have recently been made redundant and fancy a change of career. I live in Hampshire
I plan on doing an extended tiling course, but am concerned about getting work after. Where do I find work? Is it by word of mouth? Is there much work about? What sort of rates could I expect? How much competition can I expect therefore would I stand much chance being a Newbie.

Best thing to do is have a good look around this forum, as there is plenty of tips and advice on how much to charge and how to get going with tools and costing etc...
