New to tile forum About to attend NETT

Am from the Glasgow area! :lol: I really dont have alot of money to spend if any, so wanna make sure i purchase the more important tools first.. NETT have a tool list on there website which look ok but then again am just starting out this trade so i dont really know whats what :mad2: lol...

Maybe one of the tilers on here who are in Glasgow could show you some tools and explain why they prefer that brand. This could save you time and money.

I'd advise to wait until your course. Darren at NETT will take you through all the tools on the first morning and explain what each is used for, so you'll have a better idea about what you need for a starter kit

Yeah that would be cool.. i wonder if there are alot of tilers on this site from glasgow? :yikes:..I will be staying with family during my course in newcastle so maybe i can find some down there? :20:

Thanks jimbob. i think that will be a good idea, guess am freaking out a little because i dont know what i need for tiling but thats cos i havent done it yet but i am derermined to make this work and start up on my own :drool5: Fingers crossed lol..

There are quite a few tiliers in Glasgow , Brian C being the one i know of most but i am sure they will be along later to say hello. Why not introduce yourself in the new members room
