New toy?

I'm thinking of buying a new toy. Does anyone have the Stabila LAX 50 laser level that Neil sells at buybrand? Is it OK? I don't tile much therefore don't need one too flash or expensive.

No, good old spirit level and pencil for me at the mo.

I take it you 'fix' one end of water level to your datum line then work around the room? Or get someone to hold it? Or use it as i've seen on this site out of the lower end of a buicket? I used one once to do a ceiling but got the missus to hold one end up-not too accurate!!!!!!
