That is still the way most people think yes. Give it another 20 years the plasterer will be phased out of walls on bathrooms when the GP all know about backer boards etc. However for now, he gets me a fair bit of work. most of January is covered thanks to him !

I remember when it was all float and set and a lot of sand/cement and siriphite...then dry lining was coming through big time, just had to follow the cause.

I still float out on stud walls that are out, then washer screw fix them to the studs. much less faffing that adding woods to existing studs !

fairplay mate cant wait to be saying stuff like oh I cant im fully booked pmsl!... I know what you mean about the plasterer as when I talk to people about partitions and tell them it is stronger without the skim they are baffled lol

It is like driving a car, Bluetooth is great if you have got iPod just connects if you getting limited or sport will have everything.
