New user needs quality advise

Hi guys

Andy from eytc New user here

Anbody have some good advise and hints and tips on using Mapie kerapoxy epoxy grout with 10mm Grout joints am unable to reduce peg size due to client spsification.

all advise would be greatley appreciated

Hi, Welcome and good luck with that epoxy,,,, never used it as it scares me just thinking about it. ultracolour plus is hard enought to clean up as it is..:yikes:

great advice from rich but he forgot to mention boiling hot water when you emulsify and wash of the epoxi you will find it works a treat , a good tip is 24/48 hrs later you can put a cloth over it with acetone on it this will take any stickyness of the tiles also it wil soften any small pieces of epoxy that you may have missed acetone is availible from anyone who deals with fiberglass

10mm joints, dont envy you Andy.

Lot of grout and dosh to fill those joints, remember to be well protected head to toe when dealing with epoxy

Done all cosh assesments and got all ppe
managed to get hot water on site not boiling (WILL THAT HINDER ME)

some one suggesterd useing a splash of washing up liquid
to help eith work ability can any one comfirm this please.

I don't know about washing up liquid, After using silicone and washing up liquid, maybe the next day,the floor may need a clean down, if any washing up liquid residue gets into the wash boy, it is almost like an 80s foamparty

Have seen guys adding wadhing up liquid to the mix to stop it going of as quick!

Not a good Idea

Being organised and efficient will help you more than adding Fairy in to the mix the you would be in right soapy bubble :lol:
