I worked it out at 23 miles a gallon, depending how much weight you carrying and as you say around town...stop and start type journeys could be the reason but get it checked at a garage.

thats what it states on the gauge though.

About 650 miles for £110 of diesel.

Bout the same as me, I've got the Vivaro which does roughly 60 miles to £10 or 34-36 to the gallon.

I moved up from the lwb high roof connect (great van) to a swb low roof transit t260 (110 hp) a year back and its a great work horse.

its full to the brim with tools and gear and today i picked up a set of roof bars so I can get even more gear on board.:lol:

once you move up a size then you cant go back !

The new Transits are nice vans but it's amazing how many I've seen with the front out of them at the local Ford dealer. Might have the problems rectified on current releases though. Make sure you get her waxoyled as the Fords don't like winter too much.
