New wet cutter

Yup - agree - That price is shocking. It's obviously old stock.
The Versatile / Vitrex one is the replacement one B&Q stock - The motor is now 750w.

Got one of them out of B&Q for £70 a few weeks ago. Hard to beat for the price. Best buying soon though, as I think B&Q are replacing all the Vitrex wetsaws with something else that looks like a much cheaper effort.

Theres a make called "QEP" which seems to be B&Q's own brand - (not 100% sure.)
The replacement 180mm blade is a QEP one & is the same as the one that came with the Versatile cutter.
I dont think the blade is very good. - (£18)
Is it worthwhile spending £42 on a Macrist one ???? - Are they worth the exta money ? - anyone ?
QEP also do a "Turbo cut" one which is the same grooves / shape as the macrist one.

Was recently enquiring about a Macrist blade and I think the answer was that the Sankyo is a better all round blade (for cheaper).

The cheap "Turbocut" blades are a waste of money, don't do anything better than a standard cheap blade.
