I assume u mean external corners yeah?
Short answer is yes of course, there's no reason why u can't if that's what u want to do.
If your corners are flat and straight tho I'd go for a metal 90 degree trim. They come in various finishes and are much more pleasing to the eye than plastic. Plastic trims are nasty and only useful if u need to follow the contours of a corner because they are more mailable, whereas metal is not.
