Hi All,

problem solved, one of the stone merchants got back to me a little late but with a price of £200+vat for the stone, cutout and 2 sides polished which sounds pretty good to me, now all I have to do is get some clear acrylic sheet to make a template as the basin supplier doesn't supply them which is a bit off but what can you do?

Sorana is pretty robust. It's also repairable and polishable. It won't be as hard wearing as the stone.

But, i don't know where abouts in the South you are, but if you did want to look at a resin option then if Northampton isn't too far away lookup Terry Wilson's.
