Hi to all, i currently work in IT but sick of the mundane 9-5 and are looking for a change, so in september looking to do a 25 week course at Northumberland college one night a week, then maybes a 4 week course at Northeast tiling. Hopefuly after that try and get work with a tile company. Heard quiet good things re Northeast tiling but would be nice to hear if anyone has done the course at Northumberland college, and any other advise would be welcome. Thanks!

HI NWBIE,FROM GLASGOW MYSELF.JUST A COUPLE OF POINTERS 4 U M8,NE TILING COURSE IS A 4 DAY COURSE WHICH I HAVE JUST COMPLETED YESTERDAY.THE COLLEGE COURSE U R TALKN ABOUT,A FRIEND OF MINE LASTED 5 WEEKS AND SAID ITS A WASTE OF TIME.IF U WANT ANY ADVICE ON THE NE TILING COURSE ID B HAPPY 2 LET U KNOW ABOUT IT.:icon4:

hi mate i have done both courses and to be quite honest i learned more in 1 day off daren at north east tileing then i did the entire time as was at norhumberland (ashington colege). thats no disrespect to the tutors its just darens way off teaching was superb.

Thanks guys, regarding the 25 week course at Ashington did it give you a little more confidence in tiling as the course was longer or do you think i should just go straight for the 4 day course at Northeast tiling. Also how did you find it after doing the course at Northeast tiling, was work hard to come by?

Only Recently (yesterday)finished The Course So Not Had Much Work Yet,which Can Only Be Expected.go 4 It And Do Yersel A Favourwith The 4 Day Course But Be Prepared 4 Hard Work.keep Me Posted.

juat got off the 4 day course last week, did 4 jobs since then not big jobs but got my cash back that i paid for the course daren at north east tileing is a true professional he as time for every one on his course:wink_smile:
