Newly tiled hallway but gaps all around the edges

ali im not saying that is what I would do, im just talking about this site man everything gets dragged out and arguments are constant... all of my pride goes into my work and I don't walk away from a job until all internals have been siliconed lol.... just a bit tired of poppin on and all I see is arguments sort of drags the site down a little don't ya think mate?

Think you should start practicing with a spray bottle & sealant tool Ash,
This is what I'm using just now & it's a good piece of kit.

To be honest, I'm not even arguing, just trying to get my point across!?! I'm not getting personal, or taking it personally.. I know what we are supposed to do, and the reason for it, but I've seen no evidence in the real world to back up the BS line!?!

Think you should start practicing with a spray bottle & sealant tool Ash,
This is what I'm using just now & it's a good piece of kit.

yeh I really should learn how to use one of these tools stef I will soon got a bathroom floor to quote for next weekend may pick one up to try when I Silicon the ''skirting'' lol

something else about plinths you can attatch some sort of plastic clipping that runs against the tiles (no idea what its called) but it will always ensure a clean removal when ever it is needed 😉 and yes I am sure you all know what I mean just thought I would ad some info to the thread lol

The secret Ash is to just put a bit too much into the joint then spray it down with a diluted mix of fairy liquid & then come up or down the join with the Silicon tool & put excess onto a paper towel or wonder wipe.
With a bit of practice you will be surprised how good a finish you can achieve.

hey hey stef, my finnish is good what ya trying to say? haha tell ya what when I went back to sort out those sockets on sunday I looked at the internal connecting to the unit and though... that is just beautiful lol. I will buy me a kit soon and test it out see how it goes cheers mate
