Newly tiled hallway but gaps all around the edges

The secret Ash is to just put a bit too much into the joint then spray it down with a diluted mix of fairy liquid & then come up or down the join with the Silicon tool & put excess onto a paper towel or wonder wipe.
With a bit of practice you will be surprised how good a finish you can achieve.

I gave my away stef to someone on here, posted it meself, not even a thankyou !
Im pretty good with my finger ...................mmmm theres a joke somewhere in that comment 😉

. As soon as I read that I thought to myself,
"I've never had a complaint"

As bad as my comment the other night,
"The last time I tried that on the laptop I got a virus"

I agree spray bottle, a little fairy liquid, rubber finishing tool (fugi?) or well practiced finger.

My wife is always getting at me for pouring out the the last drop of Mr. Muscle or the like, so I can nick the spray bottle.😳

Geoff, how do your pictures show that a Silicon movement joint is essential!?!

My picture shows just how many movement joints there are that require Silicon and any one of these (if it were grouted) would likely crack and could cause major issues such as cracked tiles, bacterial growth in joints etc etc. I'm sure we can all trawl the internet and find photos of examples where installs have failed where there has been no movement joint..

just walk into a showroom, all internals will be cracked unless they have been siliconed.

Obviously you can't just grout an internal corner, it has to be siliconed too, as they always crack. 😉
