I remember finding coverage of one of these competitions on tv and it's one of these things you should see once ( only once tho ). Most of them take a hot dog,plenty of water and eat it like a seabird eating a fish with vritually no chewing. This guy was the winner and he's a skinny bloke.

Sir Ramic, I think you underestimate the interest there is on a worldwide scale in competitive eating. This was big news for some people, and is on the scale of 'Brazil don't qualify for the World Cup Finals but turn up anyway and demand to play, and when they refuse they are escorted from the stadium.'
