Nightmare with grout colour

I have finished laying my floor tiles (600mm polished porcelain just off white). No problems there. We decided on a silver colour grout and I bought Mapei (I think the colour is called Manhatton). I wasn't sure if I could work through the wole 5kg before it started going off so I mixed two batches and everything went fine - until I started to touch up the grout lines.
What I did was to mix some more water with what grout I had left and I spread this on the some of the joints which were low. the finish I was getting looked really good, but when the grout dried out it was white. So now I have a lovely floor but with a 2 colour grout which looks awful.
My question is, do I need to rake out the grout and start again?? Or can I rescue the colour somehow?
any help will be extremely appreciated.

If you've just grouted it will come out fairly easy, do it asap but be careful doing it as the tiles will chip if you catch them wrong.

So is there nothing from Mapei that will rescue the colour?

You added water to an existing mix which thinned it out, so makes it a lighter colour when dry....you could try and get the grout out before it totaly sets, if thats to late use a grout colourant...Tradetiler Universeal Grout Colour

I did add water to an existing batch (stupid I know) but what surprised me is that a lot of the area dried completely white, even though the watered down mix still looked like the orogonal silver Manhattan colour. I think I will try the grout rescue. Have you used this before?

I have used the grout rescue and it works very well.
