I think the non setting adhesive has lime instead of cement, just google training adhesive and you should find something, why not ask the training centre to give or sell you some, they already have a supplier.


You should be able to pick up some cheap tiles, try the local tile sheds, for some 6x6's. or again, why not ask the training centre if they will sell you some of theirs as they will have a cheap supplier.

Thats the stuff mate!

When I was at college we used lime and sand mix for tiling floors and doing screeds.

i usualy go around focus b&q and look for boxes of tiles reduced end of line that sort of thing try getting different types ceramic, real stone, porcelain, quarry,ect to practice your cutting you could always use adehsive onto backerboard like they do in tilestores good luck on your course let us know how you got on i will be doing one later this year myself........Alby.......:thumbsup:

I you buy a real bad cheap adhesive add some silver sand and water to make a very slow set, I used to use this method for my apprentices. You will need to experiment. And dont slam the door:lol: not recomended for soffits or over expensive sanitary ware. Good luck:thumbsup:
