Not tubbed stuff.

Hi all. If all goes to plan I should finally be getting round to doing some tiling tomorrow. The adhesive I'll be using is Mapei Adesilex PS. I've only ever used tubbed stuff in the past. so was wondering if anyone had any hints or tips on mixing and using this stuff. Cheers.

You mean Adesilex P9..

It is a good adhesive and good to work with.. slow setting , so will allow you loads of working time with it..

Whitebeam, I'm fixing 330x250x8 ceramics onto mapegummed WP plasterboard.

As Dave, have'nt used to often but found it good gear to use..

So any tips on mixing the stuff? What sort of consistency should I be looking for?

All else fails read the instuctions on the bag for water powder ratios..

you know, I've become so used to not having the info I require on a products packaging that I came straight here. The info on the tanking kit was pretty comprehensive so I'll check the bag in the morning. Thanks all.

p9 good stuff. I only used few times but brilliant stuff. I always stick to measurements on bag. covered if anything goes wrong then. measure water out for full bag. half then mix half bag. it will last a good amount of time before next mix needed.
